I take a lot of landscape and nature shots, so I decided to switch things up. I don't know what is is, but I've had this nagging voice in my head telling me to try some portraits out. Well, I finally did this Labor Day weekend. I set my camera up on a tripod and snapped a few shots of me and my boyfriend. People were very interested in what we were doing with all my camera equipment and being all dressed up! A woman asked if we were doing an engagement shoot...that was kinda how we were staging it, but this was just for fun ;)
These were taken at Tyler State Park in Bucks County and we walked almost a mile with my tripods, lights, and camera to get to this field. On the way up I saw this neat green barn door so we made a stop there on the way back too.
It was fun and I love learning to use my camera in new ways. Maybe portraits are in my future?
