New art show booth for this year! Couldn't have asked for a better weekend to test it out. Mid 60's in the middle of February!? I'll take nice weather any day!
Anyway my "little green giant" served me well, but it was time to upgrade. For one thing, it was slightly smaller than the standard 10x10 tent, and I need as much room as these shows will give me. The other thing I didn't realize was that some of the higher end markets tend to like white tents. I guess it looks cleaner and everyone matches so it looks good on their end. I did want white, but for my first tent I just needed to find something cheap that would cover everything.
Well now I'm ready to take this big girl on the road. I really am making this more difficult to fit everything in my small Saturn. That will be another obstacle come my first market. In the beginning I was pretty much laying everything on tables because I couldn't afford or fit walls to hang my artwork on. Now, I still can't fit it but I'm going to try. Andrew built the walls so we saved big there. I am so lucky to have him :) Next investment will be a bigger car. We are working on that plan now...along with our plan on moving to Maine and doing some small renovations on our current house in Bristol, PA.
So much going on, but I'm very excited! Stay tuned!
